Grey Towers Castle - Arcadia

I've always loved the castle, and it's one of the schools that Shawn and I attended together! But we're concerned over the gloominess of the rooms (it IS, after all, a castle), the musty smells, the creaky floors, and the small sizes of each room. Can we spread out our guests among 2 different rooms? Is that weird?

Reception Hunt, Part I

So far, we've looked at several possible reception sites - some with more information than others.


1) The William Penn Inn


We'd be in the Carriage Room, which is different from the room Mary Kate's reception was in. There are tons of pros to WPI, most notable among them being that MK's wedding was such a success there, it's close to Shawn's relatives and our old school (so friends know how to get there), we could take photos at GMC, and the Inn takes care of everything. They know what they're doing, and we know that firsthand. It is, however, a bit of a hike from Elkins Park, where the ceremony will be held. Also a con: while beautiful inside, there is no scenery outside...and for a June wedding, it might be nice to have guests be able to wander outside and enjoy the (hopefully nice) weather.
